Former Congressman Steve Stockman has gone through the internal required process to request transfer to home confinement in order to shelter-at-home in the face of the COVID-19 epidemic. Citing her husband’s several CDC identified COVID risk factors, Stockman’s wife, Patti, issued a tearful plea in early April to President Trump to ensure her husband was moved home to escape the deadly virus. However, Stockman remains in prison, the sole remaining elderly diabetic prisoner at Beaumont Prison Camp in Texas.
